Knowing yourself and your strengths are really valuable when it comes to applications so take some time and evaluate and take note of your personal strengths and goals. Distinguish between the strengths you already brought into DCI and the ones you developed at DCI.

Finally, write a short pitch about yourself that highlights your strengths and goals.

Understanding the market you are applying in should also be an essential part of your preparation process. Take some time to inform about different industries, types of companies and roles you are interested in. Include where the companies you choose create value and who the customers of these companies are.

This template will also help you with better time management. Good time management ensures that tasks are coordinated and successfully implemented and a clear structure helps to overcome fear and difficulties and helps to stay motivated! Here are some time management skills:
Move step by step: Don't to everything at one time, “monotasking” reduces mistakes.
Define “application times”: Define a certain task for each day per week (e.g. Monday & Tuesday: research, Wednesday & Thursday: write cover letter, Friday: send application), Don't get distracted by Social Media etc., have routines
Prioritise: Prioritise urgent tasks from not urgent ones (deadlines and most wanted positions first), to-do-lists
Plan realistic: plan buffers and do breaks, have a day on which you do nothing but rest to load new energy
